Transfer news LIVE: Man Utd’s Greenwood stance as Arsenal eye 4 huge deals | Football | Sport

Arsenal could end up smashing their transfer record in the summer with Edu reportedly shortlisting Evan Ferguson, Victor Osimhen, Benjamin Sesko and Ivan Toney as their main striker targets.

The Athletic claim the club admires the quartet, though none of the players are expected to join until the summer.

Arsenal are keen to sign a new No 9 but their chances of getting a big-money deal over the line in January are understood to be slim.

Each of their striker targets could fetch a price over £100m, Ferguson and Osimhen in particular. Ferguson only recently signed a new deal and is hugely valued by Brighton.

Osimhen, meanwhile, is in talks over signing a new contract at Napoli that would include a £112m release clause – a price that would eclipse the £105m Arsenal paid West Ham in the summer to land Declan Rice.
