We’ve wrapped on Day 12 of the 2024 Paris Olympics and the action didn’t disappoint.
There were more Team GB medal hopes in action. Sailor Micky Beckett started the day in fourth place ahead of the medal race in the men’s dinghy category, and John Gimson and Anna Burnet went in the mixed multihull gold medal race.
In the track cycling men’s team pursuit final, the quartet of Ethan Hayter, Ollie Wood, Ethan Vernon and Charlie Tanfield took on Australia, while the track and field action continued. There has also been further boxing fallout, after Imane Khelif defied her critics to make the women’s 66kg final.
