F1 LIVE: Helmut Marko sounds Max Verstappen alarm as major rule change meeting held | F1 | Sport

Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen were involved in an incident in yesterday’s second practice session at Imola.

The Red Bull man, disappointed with his speed already, attempted a flying lap but was impeded by Hamilton which hampered his speed.

The Brit gestured an apology but Verstappen refused to accept it, insisting that Hamilton had tried such tactics previously.

“It’s not the first time,” Verstappen said. “You try to, of course, always stay calm about it, but it happened again.

“But on the other hand, also I don’t want to really talk about it too much because that’s not our issue today. We were just severely off pace that we need to fix.”
