This house is one of Wright’s American System-Built Homes, his effort at affordable housing using precut pieces assembled inexpensively on site. At the back of the house is a den used as a game room, with a door to the pool area. One bedroom is off this space, behind a barn-style sliding door, as is a full bathroom.

Three more bedrooms are off a hallway extending from the kitchen. The primary suite, at the far end, has a bathroom with an oversized walk-in shower that has a glass door and a built-in bench seat. A guest bedroom next door and another across from it share a full bathroom off the hall.

Outdoor space: The in-ground swimming pool behind the house is framed by a concrete deck with room for lounge chairs. On the other side of the pool is a lawn with a canopy-covered patio in one corner. The attached garage holds one car; there is room to park another in the driveway.
